Bruno Lamborghini
Direttore della Direzione Studi e Strategie e Rapporti con la Comunità Europea del gruppo Olivetti..Svolge funzioni di stretta collaborazione con il Presidente del Gruppo Carlo de Benedetti.
Presidente di EUROBIT (Associazione europea dei costruttori di prodotti e sistemi dell'informatica).
Dal 1992 in Olivetti con funzioni dirigenziali nell'ambito della ricerca economica e della pianificazione aziendale. Dalla metà degli anni ottanta posizioni di primo livello aziendale nell'ambito degli studi e delle strategie. Dal 1990 responsabile dei rapporti con la Comunità Economica Europea. Membro del Comitato Esecutivo del Gruppo.
E' Presidente di EITO, consorzio europeo per la pubblicazione dell'European Information Technology Observatory, il più completo rapporto sulle tecnologie informatiche in Europa, sponsorizzato dalla Commissione Europea.
E' membro del Cosiglio d'Amministrazione di Prometeia, il maggiore centro italiano di previsioni economiche con sede a Bologna, di cui è stato tra i fondatori. Ha partecipato alla Fondazione di Nomisma: ne ha fatto del Comitato Scientifico negli anni 80 e membro del Consiglio d'Amministrazione negli anni 1989-'92.
Ha collaborato con il Gruppo Bangemann nella preparazione del Rapporto Bangemann nella preparazione del Rapporto sulla Società dell'informazione presentato al Vertice di Corfu nel giugno '94. Ha svolto insegnamento universitario presso le Università di Torino e Bologna.
E' autore di numerosi libri,saggi e articoli pubblicati in giornali e riviste italiane ed estere. Tra i libri: 'Impresa pubblica e tecnologie avanzate',Il Mulino, 1979, 'Tecnologia domani' (coautore), Laterza, 1987, 'Technology and producitivity' (coautore), OCED, 1991.
He is presently Director of Studies and Strategies and a member of the Executive Committee of Olivetti.
He is also responsible for the relations with the European Community with an office in Brussels. He is working closely with the president of Olivetti, Carlo de Benedetti.
He is President of EUROBIT (the European association of information products and systems makers).
Lamborghini has been with Olivetti since 1992 in the managerial position in the field of economic research and company planning. Since the mid-80's he has held top level positions in the field of studies and strategies. Since 1990 he has been in charge of relations with the European Economic Community. He is presently Director of Studies and Strategies and a member of the Executive Committee of Olivetti. He is also responsible for the relations with the European Community with an office in Brussels. He is working closely with the president of Olivetti.
He is president of EITO, the European consortium for the publication of the European Information Technology Observatory, the most complete report on information technology in Europe, sponsored by the European Commission.
He is a member of the Administration Council of Prometeia, the largest Italian center of economic forecasts based in Bologna, of which he was one of the founders. He has participated in the Fondazione di Nomisma: of which he was made a member of the Scientific Committee in the 80's and was a member of the Consiglio d'Amministrazione from 1989-'92.
He has collaborated with the Bangemann Group preparing the Bangemann report on the Information Society presented to the summit in Corfu in June 1994.
He has taught at the Universities of Torino and Bologna. He is the author of numerous books, essaya and articles published in newspapers and in magazines both Italian and foreign.
