Lionel Fleury

      Lionel Fleury è presidente e amministratore delegato dell'Agenzia France-Presse (AFP) ed è anche amministratore di Intermonde Presse, Spdv Canal Infos e AFX, che sono società sussidiarie di AFP. E' inoltre Presidente di SANOV e dal 1985 ha un incarico alla Université de Paris Dauphine.
      Membro de 'Sciences des Organisations' è Amministratore delegato della Société STEMLER (Industrie).
      Nel 1992 era il tesoriere della associazione MEDIAS.
      E' autore di vari articoli e saggi sulla economia informatica.
      E'stato vice amministratore delegato di AFP da marzo 1990 a gennaio 1993 e direttore generale e fondatore di POLYCOM dal 1985 al 1990, una società sussidaria di France-Cable et Radio (France Telecom) e AFP. Era consulente senior di SOFRECOM alla commissione europea nel 1985 e direttore generale di General Satellite Corp. nel 1984-85. E' stato Direttore commerciale dei programmi satellite di Telecom 1 da 1979-83.
      Dal 1974-75 è stato ingegnere all Centro Nazionale di Studi della Télécom e dal 1968 al 1975 docente di fisica alla università di Amiens .
      Ha un dottorato in Geofisica conseguito nel 1972.

      President of SANOV, union of the Grandes Agences Françaises. Since 1985 he has been at the Université Paris Dauphine. Member of the UFR council 'Sciences des Organisations' he is Managing Director of the Société STREMLER (Industrie).
      In 1992 he was Treasurer of the Association MEDIAS. He is the author of various articles and works on information economics.
      Former Vice Director General of AFP from March 1990 to January 1993, as well as founding Director-General from 1985 to 1990 of POLYCOM, a subsidiary of both France-Cables et Radio (France TŽlŽcom) and AFP. He was SOFRECOM Senior Consultant to the European Commission (1985) and General Manager of General Satellite Corp. in 1984-85. He was also Commercial Director of satellite program, TŽlŽcom 1 from 1979-83. He was an Engineer at the Centre National d'Etudes des Télécom, 1974-75, and Assistant Lecturer in Physics at the Université d'Amiens 1968-75.
