Umberto Cuttica
Umberto Cuttica è nato a Firenze il 24 marzo 1928.Laureato nel 1949 in giurisprudenza, con una tesi in Diritto del Lavoro, assunse un incarico a Torino, presso l'UNIONE INDUSTRIALE.
Successivamente fu alla NAZIONALE COGNE come Direttore del personale, poi Vice Direttore generale, sino al 1968.
Passato alla FIAT, ne fu Direttore Centrale del Personale e delle Relazioni Sociali dal 1970 al 1974.
Negli anni 1975-76 Amministratore Delegato e Direttore Generale della PIAGGIO (Genova); dal 1977 al 1981 Amministratore Delegato e Direttore Generale de LA STAMPA; dal 1981 al 1983 Amministratore Delegato, poi Presidente, della SAVA; dal 1983 al 1984 Presidente della ZANUSSI (Pordenone).
Cuttica è stato inoltre Presidente della Federazione Nazionale delle acque minerali e delle terme - FEDERTERME (Roma).
Nel 1989 fu richiamato a LA STAMPA come Vice Presidente operativo, carica che ricopre tuttora.
E' anche Presidente della Fondazione 'SPECCHIO DEI TEMPI', membro del Consiglio ITEDI, del Consiglio e della Giunta dell'Associazione Italiana fra le Società per Azioni - ASSONIME (Roma) e del Consiglio dell'Instituto Ricerca e Cura Cancro - IRCC.
Dal 1994 è presidente dell'ANSA.
Umberto Cuttica was born in Florence on 24 March 1928 where he graduated in Law in 1949 with a thesis on the Rights of Work.
After completing his professional practice and being admitting to the Bar he went to Turin to work at the UNIONE INDUSTRIALE.
Following which he went to the NAZIONALE COGNE as Personnel Director and then as Vice Director General until 1968.
He then went to FIAT where he was Central Director of Personnel and Social Relations from 1970 till 1974.
From 1975 till 1976 he was Managing Director and Director General of PIAGGIO (Genoa); from 1977 till 1981 Managing Director and Director General of LA STAMPA; from 1981 till 1983 Managing Director, then President of SAVA; from 1983 till 1984 President of ZANUSSI (Pordenone).
He was President of the National Federation of Mineral Water and Thermal Springs -FEDERTERME (Roma).
In 1989 he was recalled to LA STAMPA as Vice President, a post he continues to hold to the present day. He is also President of the 'SPECCHIO DEI TEMPI' Foundation, a member of the ITEDI Council, and on the Board of the Institute of Cancer Research and Treatment - IRCC. He was appointed President of ANSA in 1994.
